A fish tail hem, AND pockets - definitely something to make me kick up my heels! I hope you all had a nice Easter weekend, however you chose to celebrate.

Don't Rain On My (Easter) Parade
I was not able to get to New York for the traditional Fifth Avenue Easter Parade so in solidarity with my blogger friends in New York, I decided to have my own parade of one on my porch. And as no Easter Parade outfit is complete without some sort of head adornment, I dug out this marvelous raw silk fascinator made by Ophelie Hats that I purchased at From Mars last year. It seemed to co-exist rather happily with the blue maxi-skirt I found at The Sentimentalist and the mint green faux bunny fur shrug from Lovesick. I'm sure my neighbours are by now used to seeing me out on my porch in some crazy outfit while one of my friends takes photos (Thank you Donna).

I LOVE this! You look as though you are really enjoying your outfits and photo shoots at the moment, Shelley!
ReplyDeleteI would wear every piece you have on, and I love it all together. That headpiece is wonderful. Can you pick up messages from extraterrestrials on it?!
And for braving the neighbours' curiosity? You have my admiration! (I still lurk in a corner if mine are around...) xxxxxx
You look like somenone from another era but done in a modern way
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast between the pink booties and all he different kind of blue
The hat is of course a delight, i like the way you wore it!

Wow! That fascinator! The fish-tail hem! The colours. And we cannot forget that mint-green shrug. Marvellous. Who needs New York when you have a front porch with neighbours and an obliging friend?
ReplyDeleteDid you move Shelley? This doesn't look like your old place (by the way, you look lovely!).
ReplyDeleteYou did not disappoint! Your outfit, with fabulous hat, are definitely Easter Parade worthy. Every woman should own a raw silk fascinator for just such occasions.
